"Thank you," she murmured.

She pulled back and looked at him. "What about you? Are you completely healed?"

"Yes."

She sat up and swung her legs out of bed. "I'm going to check on the baby."

Bilal gripped her wrist. "He's sleeping." He could hear their son's steady breathing. He would be asleep for some time unless interrupted and Bilal knew that his son needed the healing sleep just as much as he had.
