“Stop staring at me like that.”

I’m sitting on the Cold stone floor, not the dream-place, not even the clearing but somewhere in between. Papa’s boots are in front of me, mama’s pacing. Aiden’s leaning against the wall like he doesn’t trust it not to move.

Nobody answers.

“I’m still the same,” I add. “I think.”
