I wake up to Freya shaking beside me and when I open my eyes I see her staring at her phone with fear written all over her face and I know before I ask that Marcus has reached out again.

"What did he say?" I ask quietly so I don't wake Sebastian and Logan yet.

"He said Nevada won't protect us forever," Freya whispers and her voice trembles. "And that when he comes for me there won't be anywhere left to run."
