I can hear Marcus breathing on the other side of the door and every instinct I have is telling me to shift and fight but I need to keep control of the situation because Freddie is terrified and Logan and Zane are both looking to me for direction on how to handle this.

"Open the door" Marcus says and his voice has lost the fake politeness from earlier. "Or I break it down and drag Freddie out of there by force"
