Freya's pov

David is waiting in the campus coffee shop when I arrive and he looks exactly like I remember except older somehow with tension in his shoulders that wasn't there before and when he sees me his coffee cup shakes enough that liquid sloshes over the rim.

"Freya," he says and stands up so fast his chair scrapes loudly against the floor.
