Roman didn't take Katie to her room. Instead, he took her to the master suite, a room on the floor below Katie's tower room, and set her gently on the huge bed. She sank into the smooth, plush bedding and leaned back. She watched him warily, heart beating with trepidation as he stepped away to remove his jacket and tie.
