How many times has it been? I squinted and mulled it over.

Seventeenth. This was the seventeenth damn time Aidan had requested a meeting.

"You can tell him my pack has no place for him," I commanded Beta Liam curtly.

"Of course, Alpha Henry, I'll turn them down," Liam replied, closing the door as he left.

I can't even describe how angry I was—at least, not until the door shut again.
