Mysterious Inks

He blushed so hard until, Adrien cleared his throat with a cocky smirk and that seemed to jolt him out of his daydream

"No thanks, I'm not interested" He replied shortly gripping his hurting head

"Is it because of what happened earlier?" Adrien asked with raised brows.

And Angelo slowly sat up on his bed then he nodded

Adrien's mouth dropped.

"What? What do you expect me to say, we're not even that close and Scarlett's a bitch, she's my

ex and I don't wanna cause a scene" He explained and Angelo frowned

"Yeah that's right, I shouldn't be expecting you to fight for me"

He said wanting to lay back on his bed, but Angelo gripped him by his ears

"Ouch Senior"

"Don't take her words to heart okay? I didn't know such words will get to you since you're always so cheerful?"

"Okay then I forgive you" He beamed with a smile suddenly forgetting about his headache

Adrien managed a fake smile and Angelo pouted

"Don't gimme that lopsided smile senior."

"Lopsided? Such a rude word to say to your senior." He grinned "And do you even know my name."

Angelo gasped. "Oh my effing goodness I don't! What's it?"

Adrien passed him a silly smile, not so fake this time around.

"Well take a guess, it also starts from A, will give you two hints, it's derived from Hadrianus. Can also mean man of Darkness"

Angelo gasped and his brain worked overtime

"Adrien or Adrian" Adrien's brows twitched and he smirked

"Nice try, it's Adrien Cruz"

"You're really the king of cruise, broad shoulders, hot triceps and biceps and nice tattoos, I didn't really noticed the tattoos earlier"

Angelo said eyeing his broad chest and Adrien shot him a look.

"You're staring too much..I don't mind though" He replied with a shrug

Angelo chuckled, his eyes drifting lower, studying Adrien's chest.

The tattoos weren't just designs-they told stories. There was one on his collarbone, written in italics, It wrote: Never ever give your heart to 'em

Tiny cute birds flew across his skin, like freedom carved in ink. A small heart sat on the left side of his chest, and then some random letters written on his knuckles

"These mean something," Angelo said quietly.

Adrien didn't answer.

"I think I'll get some tattoos too."

"Duh. They're not for kiddos, you hear?" Adrien replied, already turning to walk off. "Now go to sleep."

"Please... can you stay with me? I'm scared of having those nightmares again."

Adrien paused.

"Okay. This is the last time."

Angelo beamed and scooted over, nearly pushing Adrien off the bed.

"Nightie, senior."

Adrien just scoffed and shoved his headphones in.

---

Adrien was the first to wake.

Campus was still quiet, drowned in soft light and sleep. He sat up, his body stiff, hoodie tangled around him like a messy blanket.

Beside him, Angelo was still curled into the blanket, soft breaths escaping from parted lips. His hand clung to the pillow like it could keep the bad dreams away.

Adrien stared at him for a while. The kid looked peaceful. Too small for his bed

He shook his head. "Too much softness. This is why I don't sleep next to people."

He stood and stretched, the tattoos on his skin shifting like ink in motion. He glanced at the mirror, eyes falling on the one across his collarbone

"Yeah... just a reminder."

There was a knock at the door.

Adrien turned. "What?"

"Open up! You're gonna be late again!" came a muffled yell, probably someone from the dorm next door.

Adrien rolled his eyes and grabbed his bag.

"Oi, Sleeping Beauty, wake up. School ain't gonna wait for you."

Angelo groaned. "Five more minutes..."

"You already used up your lifetime of five minutes."

"I had a nightmare again."

Adrien sighed and got into the bathroom. "Gimme a minute I'll be done soon"

"Wait aren't we men? what do you have that I don't have?" Adrien chuckled from the bathroom

"Men you say?"
