Just as Damian predicted Kaira wouldn't spot Clause Seven. The realization would dawn on her later, and she would be surprised after a thorough check, but by then, she'd be bound by her signature.

Damian slowed his steps, turning briefly. Vincent, who was a step behind him, stopped at once.

Kaira's face brightened, thinking he had stopped for her.

"So embarrassing," Damian muttered under his breath, shaking his head slightly before continuing his exit from the hotel.
