Soon, I reached the entrance.

"Where is it?" one of the guards asked, tilting his head toward me and holding out his hand.

I froze, not sure what he meant.

"What do you...?" I began, but a soft whisper cut me off.

"It’s your pass. Show him."

I spun around. Emily was suddenly at my side. I thought she was only behind me, but she actually followed me?
