Kaira’s POV

"S… Sarah?" I stuttered.

"What are you…? Sorry, I mean… why? How are you here?" The words tumbled out of my mouth. I did not know what to say in that moment. Like, why would she be here?

We were not even that close. Yes, I wanted to be friends with her because she seemed nice, but we had only met once, at Damian’s house. That was all.

But then…

"What? Can’t I?" she said, interrupting my thoughts.

Her eyes widened, boring straight into my chest.

"No… why not?" ...
