It has been a week.

It's been a full week, and I have heard nothing from Damian. His line is not working, no matter how many times I try to call.

At first, I told myself it was nothing, that he was probably busy. As Damian was always busy.

But today, the silence clung to me that I could not focus. Not even for a moment.
