Birdie's POV

I was cuddled up against Luke as we watched a movie on his big tv. The movie didn’t quite suck me in, but it was one Luke had always wanted to watch.

He had his legs propped up on the coffee table, his ankles crossed, and his arms tightly wrapped around me. I was lying halfway on top of him, with one leg over his and my arms wrapped around his waist.

“No idea what the hype was all about,” Luke mumbled, and I turned my head to look up at him.
