“Then let him come,” I answered, turning away. “Your King started a war against all werewolves, and you threaten me with his arrival, what a joke!”

As I climbed the stairs back to the dias, the Lycans immediately fell to their knees.

“We beg you, Alpha King. We are already dead men. We only seek to make our punishment swift by bringing him to the King uninjured.”
