My eyes darted towards the locked door at the second sound of the tapping against the solid wood. I clenched my jaw briefly as my eyes narrowed. There was no denying, I knew who it was. I could smell her alluring scent all the way from where I lay, but I was still angry at her for keeping information from me.

“Ezren, I know you’re in there.” She called out. ‘I’m not leaving until you open up.”
