LYON’S POV

“What’s wrong with you?” I was furious as I looked at Amaya.

“I love you,” She replied defiantly, looking at me expressively.

“You need to leave.” I hissed and walked towards the door, only to open it and have Xavier standing out there.

“Ah, Xavier, you’re here. Please come in,” I hurriedly ushered him in, hoping it gave Amaya the cue to leave respectively. Instead, she just stood and looked between me and Xavier and threw a hateful glare his way.
