I sat across from him in the old, hidden lounge tucked behind the south wing of the resort, the one you'd miss unless someone told you it existed. The walls were dark mahogany, the air rich with the scent of aged cigars, and the low murmur of a football match crackled faintly from a mounted TV in the corner.
