Watching Leo say goodbye to his family was harder than I’d expected.

His wife Maria was understandably confused and scared. She had only been told they had to leave right away for safety reasons, without any explanation that might put them in danger. Their daughter, Sofía, was clinging to Leo, crying because she didn’t want to leave her friends and school.
