Sofia's POV

What have I done to deserve this painful punishment and torture? No food, no water. In this lonely and fearful forest. I cry out. I'm so completely exhausted. No strength to cry again. My heartbeat threatens to burst. My eyes are swollen.

The scorching day sun has drained my entire energy, leaving me weak and weary.

I use my tongue to collect the tears running down my face just to quench my burning dry throat.

“What agony and painful experience!” I shouted.
