My eyes fluttered open, and I felt an instant sense of familiar warmth from Taylor beside me. I snuggled in closer, my hand draped across his body as I sniffed his side.

“Good morning,” I murmured as I tried to look up at his face.

His eyes were wide open and a pale red colour. Almost as if he didn't sleep at all. He was staring at the ceiling with a worried look on his face.

I didn't need a soothsayer to know what he was thinking, and I wished there was another way to assure him ...
