I shivered as the hot water touched my skin, smoke clouding the air. It was a hot spring I discovered in the clan, and a lot of people weren’t aware of it. I felt damn proud of myself for discovering it first.

“Are you coming in?” I asked, my voice low. I swam a little, the water creating ripples. “Or are you going to keep staring at me?” My actions shocked him; I could feel it from the mating bond. It was radiating confusion.
