"Any news about her?" I asked Lola as she walked over to me in a haste.

"No, she's not here. I've search every nook and cranny of New York City but she's not here. It's like she's disappeared" Lola replied with an uninterested tone.

I wasn't interested in Aliana's well being either,I just wanted to be sure Lola and I were safe after beaten her mercilessly. Who knows? She might file a report with the police. She was just so stupid, stupid enough to fund my whole life and career. ...
