I was walking downstairs, I didn't see Mercy today, maybe she is in her room. I heard outside through the front door.

Power was a dangerous thing. It could build empires and It could destroy them.

And right now, I was standing at the edge of both possibilities.

Freddy had given me a seat beside him, a position no one in his world had ever held before.

But with that power came responsibility and the knowledge that something wasn’t right. I had felt it for weeks.
