"You need to see this." Ethan drops his phone on the breakfast table, nearly knocking over my coffee mug.

I glance up from my playbook. "If it's another article about last night's game, I already read it."

"It's not about the game." His voice is tight. "It's about her."

My stomach drops. I don't need to ask who he means. There's only one 'her' that would make Ethan look this worried. I pick up his phone, and the image hits me like a puck to the chest.
