Timothy's POV

The morning after our first council meeting, I woke up to Penelope sitting on the edge of the bed, already dressed.

"We need to talk," she says.

My stomach drops. Nothing good ever starts with those words. "Okay. What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong," Penelope says, she turns to face me fully. "But we need to establish some ground rules. For how we're doing this."
