Viktor's trial lasted three days. The Inter-Pack Council convened at Frost Haven weeks after the rescue, and I sat in the gallery beside Timothy for every session. The charges were read aloud on the first morning—kidnapping, terrorism, conspiracy to overthrow legitimate leadership, orchestrating attacks on pack civilians, trafficking in stolen pack funds. The list went on for eleven minutes as I counted.
