Timothy's POV

I wake up to the smell of coffee and bacon.

For a second, I forget everything. Then the pack bonds hit me like a wave. Eight hundred voices, eight hundred emotions, all demanding attention.

I groan and press my face into the pillow.

"Still bad?" Penelope asks. She's sitting on the edge of the bed, holding a coffee cup.

"Less overwhelming than yesterday," I admit. "But still there. Like white noise I can't turn off."
