Penelope's POV

"Where are we going?" I ask for the tenth time.

Timothy just smiles from the driver's seat. "It's a surprise."

"I hate surprises," I complain, but I'm smiling too.

"No you don't," Timothy counters. "You loved the proposal surprise."

He has a point. We've been driving for two hours now, heading north into the mountains. Away from pack territory and responsibilities. The car hums steadily beneath us, my legs are starting to cramp from sitting so long.
