CHAPTER THREE: New life

Reedah’s POV

I remeber everything, the memories came rushing in, it turns out to be a misunderstanding but what I never seem to understand was why he killed my parents.

All I could remember was he was there when it happened, the knife was on his hands but no one could say if he really was the killer.

I sighed rubbing my fingers into my hair in frustration, I didn’t know where exactly to start from or what exactly I needed to do.

I stood up going into the bathroom for a quick shower, after I was done, I went outside cleaning my body as I rub my cream on it.

I changed into a short flay floral gown then wore my slippers before heading out. Using my memories, I located Dylan’s room.

The hallway to his room was eerily quiet which made me shiver in fear, I wasn’t the previous Reedah, all I wanted now was revenge.

I soon got to his room, two guards were positioned in front of it, “Is the alpha in?” I asked just as they bowed to greet me, they both stared as though they just saw a ghost.

They were surprised, I could tell at one glance. From my memories, the previous Reedah was rude and bossy, nothing like me.

I cleared my throat, “Cat got your tongue?” I rolled my eyes rudely, they nodded and without waiting for them to say anything, I pushed open the door going in.

The room scent filled with mint chocolate from earlier made me smile a bit, I walked towards the room, there he was standing next to the window, his eyes fixed in one angle.

“What are you looking for?” He said, it was surprising that he could know it was me without looking back but who am I kidding? I am his Luna.

“I needed to talk to you!” I breathed in, I stared down at the floor unable to look up as I don’t know what mood he was in.

I heard his steps moving closer, slow at first then came his hoarse voice, “You don’t seem like her! You look different, something about you doesn’t seem right.”

I paused, my breath hitched, he noticed, “Of course not! I guess suicide can make someone realize some things.” I laughed softly then slowly as though I was trying to hide something.

He stopped in front of me, “You weren’t always scared of looking into my eyes.” I stared up immediately he said that.

Who wouldn’t want to stare into those gorgeous eyes but it was different, mesmerizing and felt like it was capturing one’s soul.

“I just needed to talk to you, you don’t think I’ll be here if I don’t need to.” I cleared my throat, I noticed him stare at me for some moment, the silence between us making it awkward.

He decided to break the silence by talking first, “What do you want?” He asked.

I shrugged moving closer to him, “It’s simple! I just want to be your Luna properly.” I could tell he was shocked, this wasn’t something the previous Reedah could have said.

He pulled me closer with my waist, his eyes staring as though looking to see through my lies, “You don’t want to run away with Felix anymore.”

The previous me could have been so stupid to even plan to run away with that betrayal instead of staying with this handsome man in front of me.

I trailed my fingers on his chest seductively, “I don’t love him, I just wanted to use him to make you jealous…”

“I don’t care what’s on your mind, you saw the suicide attempt didn’t work into me making him the pack general so you attempt this way, how low are you willing to go for him.” He paused ruffling his hands into his hair, “It just won’t work, he isn’t fit to be the pack general and I mean it.”

I was confused, what pack general? That was when it hit me. The main reason the former Rheeda committed suicide.

It was because she had asked Dylan to make Felix the new general of the pack but he refused so she threatened him with her life.

I sighed but I am different, before I could say anything, he pushed me out of his room locking the door behind.

I frowned, my arms crossed together, “Badtard!” I stomped my feet on the floor before walking away, as I walked, I could hear gossips from the maids walking.

“Seems I have no good reputation in the pack.” I thought, I needed to set my reputation right and that is exactly what I’m going to do.

Then I remember what Tina said, Felix would be waiting for me at our favorite spot at the garden, I walked over knowing I was already 30 minutes late.

I arranged my hair before walking in, I saw him waiting pacing to and fro around the garden, remembering how he killed me and what he said before my death made me ball my fist in anger.

I subconsciously touched my stomach, “He killed you, I promise to get revenge for all of you, I promise.” I murmured.

“Felix!” I called out sweetly, he turned back and smile, that familiar smile that I fell for, that I trusted.

He walked towards me in a hurry, he held my hands into his as he tried walking towards the door, “You are finally here! Let’s go.” He said, I removed my hands from his.

I crossed my arms, “Where are we going?” I asked. He raised his brow confused but shrugged.

“You forgot our plans, before Dylan would figure out you are trying to run away with me.”

I scoffed at his remarks, you think I would fall for your lies the second time, “You think I’m that stupid to leave here while you plan with Tina?”

He was surprised, “What do you mean? Have you forgotten how much you love me, we need to leave now or we’ll be caught.”

I nodded my head negatively, “I rather die than have to follow you along to wherever you are going right now.”

“I don’t want to use the wrong method Reedah, you know I can’t be seen here, father already prepared our escape plan.” He held my hand again.

This time, I removed it landing a slap on his face, “And I thought I made it clear enough to you that I am not leaving!” I shout at him, my voice shaking the whole garden.

I felt the effect of what I just did when some of the flowers in the garden died, what type of power do I really have.

“Hey careful there, you don’t want to tear down the whole garden.” He said using his hand as a calm gesture.

I realized I had the banshee voice.

Being an orphan with a Luna title, I wonder why I didn’t leave Dylan’s side, turns out it was for protection, he was protecting me.

“Then you stay away from me! I don’t like repeating myself.” I warned as I turned back, “I might be an idiot before but now I know what exactly I’m doing and I’m not going to make the same mistakes over again.” I added.

As I tried walking away, something hit me from behind like a strong steel, I turned back slowly to see Felix holding an iron steel, “You…”

I collapsed on the floor then my eyes went shut as darkness evolved me.
