I opened my eyes slowly. “Oooh, it’s morning already,” I whispered. I felt a little bit cold, and then I remembered how I had cranked up the AC higher than usual last night. I shivered as I pushed myself up from the bed, murmuring a quick good morning prayer to the goddess while I reached over to lower the AC.
