DAVID'S POV

I held onto my phone tightly as I adjusted it to the other ear. Was Selena reading my mind truly? How did she know about me being hesitant and not coming out straight with my words? Was it safe to say that Selena knows me now more than I know myself? I asked myself in thought as I scrabbled for what to say in response.

"I have something I would like to discuss with you, Selena." I blurted out with one mind as I decided to just lay it all on the table with my mind racing.
