“Take this to the management team,” I said as I added the one last finishing touch to the document—the file pin—and stretched it out to Dante.

Taking it from me, he nodded, “Yes sir.” And then he left, leaving me to the secluded peace of my office. My thoughts immediately harnessed control, and I was suddenly thinking of her.

What was she doing?

Was she in her office planning some sort of strategic decoration for some event?

I imagined further how she would look ...
