KENDRA’s POV -->

“I—I’m pregnant.”

I regretted it as soon as the words came out of my mouth. Time froze. This was definitely not how I wanted my pregnancy announcement to go down.

Aaron, put the safety lock back on the pistol and tucked it in the waistband of his jeans. He didn’t say a word before zooming off in his car.

Dad was still there, trying to collect himself.

I look at the caller ID of the missed calls and texts. They were from Dad.
