CHAPTER 22

KENDRA’s POV -->

I spend the rest of the night in Aaron’s room, in his warm embrace. We’ve never done this before. Cuddled, that is.

It feels… nice.

As soon as the first beam of light penetrates through the curtains and into the room, Aaron springs up like clockwork. He places a kiss on my forehead as I pretend to still be in bed. Next, he heads into the shower to freshen up. Someone’s got a big day ahead.
