I watched as the restaurant manager approached Bernard's table with two security guards behind him. My heart was pounding, but I tried to keep my face calm as the situation finally came to a head.

"Sir, I'm going to have to ask you and your party to leave the restaurant immediately," the manager said to Bernard in a firm voice. "You're disturbing our other guests, and this kind of behavior is not acceptable in our establishment."
