"Elara! Please wake up! My daughter." I screamed in tears as Elara was being wheeled out of the ambulance. Asher stepped out of the ambulance too. I joined the nurses in wheeling the stretcher down the hospital hallway till we got to the ward. When I tried to get in, the other nurses blocked me from entering the emergency room to stay with her.
