“I don't think she wants to talk to you” Henry stood in front of me protectively, his darkened gaze on Asher.

Asher’s gaze was calm but stern “That's for her to decide, not you”

I watched the scene unfold. Henry knew about us. He believes I no longer want to have anything to do with Asher.

He thinks meeting him here is his fault. But he doesn't know how conflicted I feel at the moment.
