“What a complete waste of time.” I grumbled, wrapping my arms around myself, as I tried to escape my thoughts.

“What was I thinking, helping him out in the first place?” I wondered. “I saved his life, but he doesn't even remember or care that he tried to kill me”.

“I should have just left after tying him up; now he must think that I'm a complete fool.” I sighed.
