I gasped, trying to catch my breath as I tried to stand, but my head began to ache, and I stumbled, quickly resting my back on the wall.

I looked up, but all I could see was a tiny circle of light far above me. I was in a hole, and I was trapped.

It wasn't really hard to tell how I ended up here. Earlier that day, I had fallen asleep under the oak tree, probably because I was exhausted from the long journey—and not because I was dying or anything.
