"It was either that or the rest of us would be wiped out completely". Aunt Valeria tried to console me.

"But why", I growled "Why does she and I have to always pay the price for everyone's happiness when we weren't the ones who made the mistake to begin with".

"I understand how you're feeling", she said "But since that's what fate had in store for you... Nobody could possibly change the outcome".
