“I will have words with Hacker. I know you’ve been working with him. Is he Alpha Lane?” he asks me.

I shake my head. “That’s Hijack.”

“Why were you on the phone with him?”

“He was prepping me for this meeting. He used my computer, so he’d have a trail to follow. He told me he’d made sure there was nothing illegal on it, so I didn’t have to worry,” I say.
