Chapter 4

Princess Elaea (Violet Sinn)

I stepped out through the doors that slid open and then closed behind me like some sort of magic and glanced around with awe and confusion.

From the memories I had from this princess Elaea, this was normal. Apparently they had discovered a way to use magic to create important things.

My kingdom was not underdeveloped at all but we didn't have all this at all and to me, it was all fascinating.

“Milady, your mother wishes to speak with you” Images flashed in my head at the name coming from Essie and I blanched, annoyed beyond relief that of all the dead bodies I could have taken, some idiot chose this weak one for me.

Whoever did this sure had a lot of explanations to give to me when I finally discovered who it was.

“Where is she?” I asked, since I was here then I would deal with this woman for her. It was time they knew who exactly owned the family fortune and the whole thing they had been running around to get.

“This way” plus I didn't even trust this Essie of a girl. She looked far too sweet to be good, like my sister.. my heart ached at the thought.

I went with her, swatting off the hand holding me and the little girl pouted but I didn't give her any face as I walked away with Essie.

She took me down the hallway and I saw that this was a hospital room with glass for walls and many floaty items and objects.

Then we stopped at a door that slid open in front of us and she led me into the room which she proceeded to lock from behind her.

I darted backwards just as a hand came crashing down at the spot where I had just stood and I smirked. Raising my head to find the eyes of none other than the stepmother and from my peripherals, I saw the daughter laid on the bed with some bandages around her arms.

She was also in the arena so I could understand where the bruises came from.

“You dare to hide from me. You bitch” stepmother sneered at me as her daughter smirked smugly and I fought off a laugh, she thought I was still the timid daughter she had always beaten up and starved anytime she felt like it.

Keep dreaming.

My hands swung forward and with a palm coated with shark ice, I slapped her hard across the face and blood spilled onto my face as she screeched at the top of her lungs.

She fell to the ground and her daughter cried out before leaving the bed and rushing to her side to help her up. Her face was full of blood but I knew it was just small scratches that would heal in a week or two. Or probably a month.

Who cares..?.

“A mistress thinking they could be anything more than that? You think I've been quiet all these years for nothing? I'm done playing with you both, if you step out of line. I will kill you” I turned around to leave but Essie blocked my path to the door with a look on her face that reminded me more of my sister than any other thing I had seen here since I arrived.

“You cannot leave, the mada-”

“Speak one more word, I dare you. And I will show you why your place will always be beneath me” I said and her eyes filled with fear at the venom in my tone before she slowly staggered to the side and I stepped out of the door.

My eyes scanned the whole lobby as I began for the front door, but as soon as I stepped past the sliding doors, I found a sleek black contraception waiting there.

They were two of them but this one was floating by my side, I sidestepped it but it followed and I glared at it.

It hissed as the door split open and I glanced around me to check if someone else was controlling it and playing games with me.

I groaned as a memory hit me hard and almost staggered to the ground but caught myself. We really should talk about these memories and how often they come up.

The contraception was there for the eldest daughter of the Vendraca family and that was what this body was. She was the eldest daughter of the Vendraca family and her stepsister had been taking that name for far too long.

It was time she knew her place.

“Oh… isn't this the mistress child of Mr vendraca?” A saccharine voice filled my ears and laughter followed behind it too and I turned around to find three girls laughing at me.

“Is something funny?” I questioned, my voice low and curious but it was enough to stop the unnecessary laughter.

“Oh… sister, don't blame them for your lineage. It's not their fault your mother couldn't keep her legs closed and broke up two lovers” The stepsister appeared out of nowhere without the mother and my brows furrowed.

“Aurelia, you seem daft” I began and her eyes widened a fraction but she righted herself and pulled up her familiar smiling face but I wasn't the former owner and that made me more irritated than impressed.

“Don't lie, sister. It's n–”

“Shut up. Whenever I'm speaking, you have no right to speak alongside me. I am the eldest daughter of the Vendraca Bloodline, you are merely the daughter of a mistress born out of wedlock” I said, my voice raised so it carried to the ears of the onlookers.

They were now a large crowd surrounding the area where we were and I knew with certainty that they were listening in on our argument. Good.

“If you dare speak to me rudely, or spew out rubbish from those lips you have, I will have your name removed from the family tree for life and leave you and your mother to face what you know you are.” I said, and she took a step forward. Her eyes fierce as she whispered furiously.

“Don't do this, or I will make life miserable for you” she threatened but my hands shot out faster than she could blink and I struck her hard across the face.

“Watch that tone with me, mutt” I said, my voice cold and icy but still, she didn't get the memo.

“You…dare to hit me?” She cried out, her eyes filling with tears as she clutched her face but I could care less.

I grabbed a hold of her neck and squeezed as gasps filled my ears.

“You won't get away with this, I will let father know of this humiliati-”

“You seem to think I was playing games with you. To be clear, I'm not. And if you test my patience again, I will make you regret it” my eyes burned and I saw the look of fear in her eyes before I pushed her away and stretched my hands to the side.

Someone lent me a napkin and I cleaned my hands off before disposing of it beside her on the ground.

I turned and walked into the contraception called an Air Cruiser but she stood up and began to come with me.

“What are you doing?” I asked, standing by the door and she gave me a funny look.

“Going back with you” she replied and I smiled.

“You seem to have forgotten what I just said to you… or tell me something, aurelia. Did I stutter?” I asked and she instantly drew back, her friends catching her when he stumbled and I smirked before entering the cruiser and it floated away.
