As I turned around, a shadow fell over me, cutting off my retreat.

My back hit the wall lightly, the cool surface jolting me back to reality. Before I could react, Damien was already in front of me, tall and imposing, completely blocking the narrow space.

He twirled the towel in his hand lazily, as if it were nothing more than a toy. His hair was still slightly damp and disheveled, softening the sharp lines of his face just enough to give him a dangerously wicked look.
