Varin was my brother. Well…kinda.

Not legitimately though, he was a product of an affair my father had a long time before I was born. Mother often referred to him as a sacrifice for her youth, because she spent so much time taking care of him that it took her years to conceive me.

My mind raced with thoughts as I tried to guess the possible reasons for his arrival. Did he miss us? Was he planning to see Mom? Or did he even remember we existed?
