Silvia didn’t make it far.

I was still near the lobby when the restroom hallway door slammed hard enough to echo. Stella stepped inside, heels clicking with a cold rhythm that made even the fluorescent lights seem sharper. Silvia turned, still shaken from earlier, mouth parting to greet her.

Stella slapped her before she could say a word.
