When I got back to campus, my phone vibrated almost immediately.

The message came from the director.

Submit your manuscript to the office before noon.

I stopped in the hallway and looked at the time. It was already half past eleven. My head still ached from the lack of sleep, but there was no point resting now. I adjusted the strap of my bag and went straight to the design building.
