When Damien and Sang Li returned to the private room after their private conversation, both of them appeared perfectly calm.

Neither man showed the slightest trace of emotion.

Their expressions were composed, almost indifferent, as though nothing unusual had occurred outside. Only the two of them knew what had been discussed during those few minutes away from everyone else.

To the rest of us, it simply looked as though they had stepped out for a brief smoke.
