Scarlett's pov

I slowly blinked into consciousness as the bright rays of light from the window blinded me.

I surveyed my surroundings, and all the events of the past day came rushing back into my mind as I sat up. I let out a loud sigh.

For a moment, I couldn't help but wonder if I had actually made the right decision by returning to this pack. I didn't even have a plan, for Christ's sake. How was I intending to uncover those really behind my death and reveal the truth to Silas?
