"Scarlett?" Someone shook me and my vision slowly focused on Nora's oval face.

"You were about to have a panic attack," she revealed and I looked around, searching for Silas.

"If you really are scared of Silas you don't have to speak to him, I can just tell him you are too tired to see him." She suggested and I stared at her in confusion.

Silas hadn't stepped into the room? That could only mean I had imagined it? My subconscious had conjured everything up?
