"Silas!" I screamed as I barely managed to break his fall and I cradled him in my arms as I looked at the silver arrow lodged in his chest.

I looked around us, waiting for the rogues to come out and take me but everywhere was silent, save for my sniffles as tears clouded my eyes and I looked down at Silas.
